Leah Rae Kmosko is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Wilmington, with a bachelor's degree in Film Studies and a Journalism minor.

In 2016, she was awarded a Television Academy Foundation Internship in Development.  Later that year, she wrote and directed her senior thesis film and won the UNCW Film Studies Award. In 2017, she moved to Atlanta and worked as a production assistant on various television shows and movies.

She is currently a freelance writer and filmmaker living in Los Angeles.
